    MYSELF

    I have to live with myself and so
    I want to be fit for myself to know.
    I want to be able as days go by
    always to look myself straight in the eye;
    I don't want to stand with the setting sun
    and hate myself for the things I have done.
    I don't want to keep on a closet shelf
    a lot of secrets about myself
    and fool myself as I come and go
    into thinking no one else will ever know
    The kind of person I really am,
    I don't want to dress up myself in sham.
    I want to go out with my head erect
    I want to deserve all men's respect;
    but here in the sruggle for fame and pelf
    I want to be able to like myself.
    I don't want to look at myself and know that
    I am bluster and bluff and empty show.
    I never can hide myself from me;
    I see what others may never see;
    I know what others may never know,
    I never can fool myself and so,
    whatever happens I want to be
    self respecting and conscience free.

    when time can't heal me,
    i have music..

    i was gonna write about losing,
    losing my freedom, my dreams, and myself..
    but then, i listen to this marvelous song,
    You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban..

    hmm, it's amazing how music can really change your mood
    by its sound and most of all by what it says..

    see what Mr. Frank Sinatra says in his My Way..

    Yes, there were times, I’m sure you knew
    When I bit off more than I could chew.
    But through it all, when there was doubt,
    I ate it up and spit it out.
    I faced it all and I stood tall;
    And did it my way.

    I’ve loved, I’ve laughed and cried.
    I’ve had my fill; my share of losing.
    And now, as tears subside,
    I find it all so amusing.

    or a sweet, beautiful, yet very strong song has to say,

    ... Never lose hope
    Never lose faith
    There's much too much at stake
    Upon myself I must depend
    I'm not looking for place or show
    I'm gonna win...

    (Win by Brian McKnight)

    ps : big thx for the mp3, hun.. it helps me get through the day when you're away..

    coincidence..
    do you believe in it?
    or do you believe that things happen for a reason?

    for example,
    i'm not the kind of girl who reads the bible..
    so, if i find the same verse many times in one day,
    hmm... it's like a shot right to the heart..
    is it just a coincidence,
    or Someone up there wanna tell me something??

    well, it could be just a coincidence..
    & no big fuss needed!!
    but, i guess there's nothing wrong with taking it seriously, right??

    hey, there's a good book about coincidence...
    it's "The Celestine Prophecy"
    it tells you to be aware of the 'usual accident' and 'coincidence'

    so, do you still believe in coincidence??
